Why donate to the 6th Annual
Works of Heart Art Event & Auction

Your partnership with Family Service & Guidance Center allows Works of Heart to continue to grow as the city's premiere children's charity art auction. Money raised goes directly to improve the lives of over 11,000 children in our community each year.

Works of Heart is a unique event where beautiful and powerful artwork created by 10 - 15 young FSGC clients is auctioned off alongside donated pieces from top professional artists like you. There is also a silent auction featuring dozens of select pieces and other art-related items like museum tours.

Last year, over 250 art enthusiasts, collectors and community leaders attended Works of Heart event and raised over $88,000. In addition, nearly 500 more saw the children’s pieces as well as the professional pieces on display at one of Topeka’s most popular First Friday ArtWalk stops, Warehouse 414.

This year’s event can be even bigger and better - but only with your help.

Artist Benefits
  • Works of Heart limits the number of entries in the Silent and Live Auctions, making this an exclusive opportunity.
  • Your artwork will be displayed at Topeka's Warehouse 414 during the August First Friday Artwalk. Last year, nearly 500 people came to this stop on the ArtWalk. August 3, 2012.
  • You will be listed as a contributing artist with a link to your website on www.fsgctopeka.com.
  • Art piece included on Facebook catalog for additional social media connections.
  • Event marketing includes advertisements on KSNT, in local print magazines and more.
  • A professionally-produced catalog listing each live auction piece, an artist bio (up to 100 words) and a photo of the piece. Silent auction items listed with media and name.
  • Opportunity to place small cards or promotional pieces by your artwork. (Provided by artist.)
  • An exclusive Artist Reception on June 22 gives artists the opportunity to meet event sponsors and supporters as well as FSGC board members and fellow artists. Bonus: you get a sneak peak at the children's artwork.
  • FSGC will share with you information on the sale price of your piece, along with the name of the buyer (with buyer's consent).
  • The exciting format of the live, mini-live and silent auctions that builds tremendous audience enthusiasm and participation up until the last piece is announced "SOLD!"
  • Best of all, 100% of the sale price from your piece will directly improve the lives of over 11,000 children and families that FSGC serves each year.
