Capital Campaign
Family Service and Guidance Center's “Hearts Full of Hope Campaign” is raising funds with which FSGC will build the Child and Family Academy, 22,000-square foot, two-story facility designed for the provision of specialized mental health services to children from birth to age 6 and their families.

Independent Living!
The Independent Living for Teenagers group is targeted to young adults, age 15 to 21, with various disabilities who are interested in becoming independent. This eight week program teaches skills which will assist them in an independent lifestyle.

Emergency Services

FSGC Crisis Teams are available to assist families with emergencies related to mental health issues. The Crisis Teams consists of a qualified mental health professional and a case manager.

We can help with:

  • Threats
  • to harm self or others
  • Dealing with difficult behaviors
  • Parent/child conflict
  • What can you expect from Crisis Service?
    The Crisis Team can evaluate the need for hospitalization or other mental health services, help resolve conflicts between parents and child and provide support and interventions to parents. The Team will assist the family for up to two weeks while facilitating access to appropriate services.

    The Crisis Team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling 785-232-5005.
