The free course is open to the public and will meet weekly from 5-6:30 p.m. on Mondays at FSGC, 327 S.W. Frazier Ave. A meal will be provided for parents and their children ages 5-12. Self-esteem building activities will also be offered to children ages 5-12 who attend with their parents.

“Parents want to feel more in control but they don't want to hurt their relationship with their children," Dr. Connie Romig, FSGC Coordinator of Training and Education, said. “This course offers strategies that will help parents feel more confident while improving their relationship with their kids at the same time. This class can help any parent.”

As an added bonus, participants who attend the class six or more of the eight weeks will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
