Parenting: Because kids don't come with instructions (8-week class)

Feel more in control as a parent while building a happier, healthier relationship with your children. This FREE 90-minute class will take place via Zoom once a week for eight consecutive weeks. A new class will begin Tuesday, March 28, from 5:30-7 p.m.

This class is intended for northeast Kansas residents. Local residents only, please.

Ask a Child Therapist Logo resizedAsk a Child Therapist focuses on getting parents and caregivers the information they want on timely children's mental health topics. Each month, one of Family Service & Guidance Center's dedicated professionals will address questions about the topic of the month.

  • Each week, we'll post a short video to Facebook and our website in which an FSGC staff member will address a question sent to us by a parent/caregiver.

  • On the fourth Thursday of the month, we'll host a FREE Zoom Q&A session. FSGC's staff member will address all the questions about the topic of the month sent in by parents/caregivers. All you have to do to sit in on the Q&A is click the Zoom link on our Facebook and below in the calendar of presentations. No registration is required!

  • We want to hear from you! If your child is struggling with our monthly topic, send us your questions! E-mail them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. All questions received will be answered at our monthly Zoom Q&A session. Yours could even be featured in one of our weekly videos!
