Individual, Group and Family Counseling
Child counseling in Topeka focuses on helping kids, teens and families handle a broad range of challenges, like depression, ADHD, loneliness, family and school problems, grief, and major life changes.
Anxiety Treatment Program
Children and adolescents learn strategies to overcome common fears, like the fear of storms or speaking in front of the class. The program can also stop ritualized behaviors, like repeated hand-washing, asking the same question over and over or constant tapping/touching of objects.
Family Service & Guidance Center Crisis Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by calling 785.232.5005. Crisis Services assist families with mental health emergencies. The Crisis Team can help when a child or teen threatens to harm themselves or someone else.
FSGC hosts exciting fundraising events, monthly parenting presentations on a variety of mental health topics, quarterly parenting classes, Youth Mental Health First Aid classes and other events.
