Performance Tire & Wheel and FSGC partner to help kids

During the month of May – which was Mental Health Awareness Month – Performance Tire & Wheel of Topeka generously pledged to make a $10 donation to Family Service & Guidance Center for every set of tires they sold.

After selling 126 sets of tires, Performance Tire & Wheel presented a check for $1,260 to FSGC on June 13.

“We’re very excited to make this donation to benefit the thousands of kids and families FSGC serves,” said Justin Glasgow, president of Performance Tire & Wheel. “The organization does amazing work, and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

Brenda Mills, Family Service & Guidance Center CEO, said, “We can’t thank Justin and Performance Tire & Wheel enough. Our need has never been greater. Their gift will make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.”

Performance Tire & Wheel’s contribution will help ensure that top-quality mental health care services are readily available to children, teens and families across northeast Kansas.
