Celebrate Mental Health Month with our local partners

Family Service & Guidance Center welcomes three local business partners to help us celebrate May as National Mental Health Month!

Performance Tire & Wheel, Prairie Glass Studio, and Scotch Fabric Care will help FSGC spread the word about the importance of children’s mental health and help raise funds throughout the month of May.

For the entire month, Performance Tire & Wheel’s two Topeka locations – 1735 N. Kansas and 2000 S.W. Topeka – will donate $10 for every complete set of tires they sell. Here’s an opportunity to get new tires for your big summer trip and help FSGC kids at the same time. Call Performance Tire & Wheel and make your May appointment today!

Prairie Glass Studio, a colorful shop and creative space at 110 S.E. 8th downtown, will celebrate May’s First Friday – May 4 – by donating 50 percent of all sales to Family Service & Guidance Center. FSGC’s own Jancy Pettit will also be selling her artwork and her adult coloring books at Prairie Glass Studio that day, and a portion of her sales will come back to the organization. Looking for something different and creative for Mother’s Day? This is the spot!

Finally, when you pick up your dry cleaning at any of Scotch Fabric Care’s six Topeka locations during May, you will have the opportunity to donate $1 to FSGC. Scotch will also be distributing information about FSGC and kids’ mental health the week of May 7.

Pam Evans, FSGC Director of Marketing & Development, said, “We’re so happy to have three outstanding local businesses partnering with us to celebrate Mental Health Month and let the community know that FSGC is here to help children living with anxiety, depression, ADHD and other mental health issues.”
