FACILITY TECHNICIAN I: FT and PT

PT Shifts are: 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday thru Friday or 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday and Sunday; conditons may require an adjustment to the schedule.

FT Shift:  2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Monday thru Friday; conditions may require an adjustment to the schedule.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position requires ownership of the complete custodial responsibilities of the facility which has been assigned with possible coverage for any of the other facilities as directed by the Chief Financial Officer. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. Must have the ability to work independently and as a team player. Must be willing to follow direction, maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Must have great attention to detail, willing to adjust and modify schedules to fit agency needs. Requires the ability to operate and maintain building cleaning and maintenance equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

I. Custodial
A. Daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal duties that include, but are not restricted to:
1. Trash disposal
2. Vacuuming
3. Mopping
4. Keeping restrooms spotless and supplied
5. Floor buffing
6. Immediate cleaning of carpet spills
7. Routine carpet and upholstery cleaning on a rotating schedule
8. Cleaning Windows
9. Monitor supplies
10. Complete inspection reports

B. Work in close contact with the Facilities Coordinator to insure the custodial duties are completed as described

Requirements:  

High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years custodial experience required.

Working Conditions:

Position requires frequent manual labor. Working conditions can include working outside in all weather conditions. Requires lifting a minimum of 75 pounds. Job will require traveling from facility to facility as needs dictate.

Requires the ability to operate and maintain building cleaning and maintenance equipment.

I. Custodial

B. Perform nightly inspections of all facilities to ensure that all required processes have been properly completed. Make corrections as needed.

C. Work in close contact with the CFO and Facilities Coordinator regarding timing of special projects and any other communications regarding the cleaning process and crew..

D. Provide a list of all needed supplies to the Purchasing Clerk in a timely manner to insure that all needed items are on hand at all times.

STAFF CLINICIAN: FT

Family Service & Guidance Center, one of the Midwest’s leaders and an innovator in children’s mental health care, has an exciting opportunity available.

FSGC is accepting applications for the position of Staff Clinician. The Staff Clinician provides behavioral health services to youth at our state-of-the art campus. Staff Clinicians facilitate individual, family, or group psychotherapy processes to children and adolescents ages 7 to 18. Staff Clinicians are also responsible for completing admission assessments and work collaboratively with the client, family and treatment team to identify treatment goals, objectives and discharge criteria.

The Staff Clinician shall possess a master’s degree and have a valid license to practice at the clinical level (LSCSW, LCP, LP, LCMFT, etc.) in the state of Kansas. This position will provide direct clinical services and must have experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances and their families.

ADMINISTRATIVE FLOATER: FT

Family Service & Guidance Center, one of the Midwest's leaders and an innovator in children's mental health care, has a Full-Time Administrative Floater position opening. 

 

The Administrative Floater will primarily be responsible to complete the needed tasks at the receptionist, admission, medical records, operator and transcriptionist stations. This includes managing the areas of responsibility in a professional manner in matters of customer service.  Determining need, meeting that need, and if appropriate, direct clients and visitors to the appropriate staff.  Spanish speaking appliant a plus but not required.

Attendant Care Provider - Part-Time

Part-time ACP's are needed to work one-on-one with children who have behavioral health barriers and are diagnosed with a severe emotional disorder. ACP's are responsible for assisting children in learning skills established by the treatment team. These skills are aimed at improving their behavioral health to help improve their functioning in all areas of life. Services are provided in a variety of settings including at school, in the home and out in the community.

Desired Skills - People who are able to build relationships and connect with children. *People who are willing to do fun interactive activities including things like playing board games, going fishing, and playing basketball to help children learn skills in a natural setting. *People who are organized and able to manage difficult schedules and documentation. *People who are able to manage stressful situations and behaviors. *People who are able to think quickly on their feet. *People who are willing to transport children in their own vehicle within Shawnee County.

Position Requirements - Individuals 18 years of age or older with one year post-secondary education in a social service related field, one year of documented experience with children, or a combination of education and experience. Must have valid Kansas driver's license, up to date car insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Must pass a background and drug test.

Crisis Attendant Care Provider

Enjoy working with children? Individuals 21 years of age & older needed to work one on one with Severely Emotionally Disturbed Children ages 5 to 17 in crisis house & community. Applicants must have a high school diploma & a combination of 2 years of documented experience & post-secondary education in a human services-related field. CRP ACP's must successfully pass all applicable background checks & possess a valid Kansas driver's license. A good driving record, proof of insurance & reliable transportation is necessary to complete job duties. Crisis House is staffed 24/7. Position is hourly, on-call. Part-time on-call staff must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.

On-Call Crisis Clinician

On-call Crisis Clinician positions available. Flexible work hours (you choose: one weekend a month; one evening a week, one evening every other week, etc.). Licensed Master Level Clinician (LSCSW or LMSW) or relevant licensure required. Clinician is expected to provide crisis interventions & be required to complete preadmission screens for hospitalization of children & adolescents. Position requires on-call work & services are provided in homes, schools, office & community settings. Position will offer opportunity for working in close collaboration with other community agencies. Experience in working with severely emotionally disturbed children & youth preferred.
