Laura Lockwood, DO

Dr. Lockwood rejoined the psychiatry staff in October 2023, having previously worked at FSGC from 2019-2022. She is a 2013 graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 2016. She also completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Lockwood provides telehealth services. She is married and has a daughter she loves spending time with. She enjoys supporting University of Tennessee athletics as well as the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tiffany Beyer
Director, Human Resources

Tiffany comes to FSGC after 17 years with Stormont Vail Healthcare where she most recently oversaw the talent acquisition and continuing professional development teams. She is a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resources Management. Tiffany holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in conflict management and dispute resolution, both from Baker University (Baldwin City, KS). She and her significant other enjoy spending time with her two grown children who live in the area. Tiffany loves outdoor activities like hiking, backpacking and kayaking. To relax, she reads, practices yoga and enjoys Body & Soul fitness.
Angie Gleason
Chief Financial Officer

Angie Gleason joined FSGC as Chief Financial Officer in October 2023. She has more than 20 years of accounting experience and most recently worked at the Great Plains Conference of the United Methodist Church. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and an Associate of Arts in legal studies, both from Washburn University. Angie has two daughters and enjoys spending time with them and their two dogs. She also enjoys hanging out with her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews.
Stacy Brohaugh
Chief Quality Officer

Stacy joined FSGC in 2023. She began working in behavioral health in 1990 at Shawnee Community Mental Health Center (now Valeo Behavioral Health Care). She has extensive experience in quality assurance and has worked in community mental health for over 20 years. Most recently, Stacy worked as Valeo’s Director of Strategic Development. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas in 1996. Stacy is married, has a daughter in college and three four-legged family members. She enjoys hiking, biking and spending time at the lake.
Sarah Merriam
Executive Assistant to the CEO

Sarah came to FSGC in May 2023 after a decade in education, having worked as a paraprofessional and as an English Language Arts teacher at several Topeka schools. She was named Chase Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2017 and nominated for USD 501’s Teacher of the Year Award in 2018.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Youngstown State University (Ohio) in 2010 and a master’s in English from The College of Saint Rose (N.Y.). She received her professional teaching license through Baker University in 2014.
She loves hiking with her husband, Bryce, and Princess, her rescue German shepherd. She also enjoys podcasts – especially true crime.
Kathy Mosher, LCP, MBA
Chief Executive Officer

Kathy Mosher re-joined FSGC as Chief Executive Officer in March 2022, eight years after leaving to become CEO of Central Kansas Mental Health in Salina. She brings extensive clinical and administrative experience to FSGC, including 11 years at Four County Mental Health Center (Independence, KS); two years as Assistant Director of Mental Health for the State of Kansas; and eight years as a Team Leader for community-based services at FSGC. Kathy also worked at the Menninger Children’s Hospital after earning her psychology degree from Washburn University. She earned master’s degrees in business administration (Baker University) and counseling psychology (University of Kansas). Kathy is married and has two grown children. She is an avid angler and is ruthless on the tennis and pickleball courts.
Anthony Bryan, MSW, LSCSW
Chief Community-Based Services Officer

Anthony joined FSGC as an intern in 1989 and has been a staff member since, having served the agency in numerous capacities. Today, he works as Director, Community-Based Services. Mr. Bryan earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. Anthony is married and has a daughter. He volunteers with Harvesters when he’s not watching the Dallas Cowboys, golfing or bowling.
Pam Evans
Director, Marketing & Development

Pam joined FSGC in 2013 as Director, Marketing & Development. Before coming to FSGC, she was with the State of Kansas for 18 years, including 14 years with the Department of Commerce. Pam is a Leadership Greater Topeka Class of 2017 graduate and an active member of the South Topeka Rotary Club. Pam is married and has a grown son. She loves watching baseball — especially the Kansas City Royals — when she isn’t spoiling her adorable-but-sometimes-yappy miniature dachshund, Pebbles.
Charles Millhuff, DO
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Millhuff has been with FSGC since 1999. He is Board Certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Millhuff received his Residency Training at the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry. He also completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Menninger School. Dr. Millhuff is married and has three children who he loves spending time with. He also enjoys running, woodworking and working in his lush, green yard.
Anne Werring
Chief Operating Officer

Anne Werring joined FSGC as Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Director in 2021 and was appointed COO in June 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate compliance, 12 in the Kansas community mental health system. Before coming to FSGC, she served as the Compliance Director for Newcomer Funeral Service Group (Topeka, KS). Anne earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and a master’s in business administration from Benedictine College in Atchison. She is the fun aunt to three intelligent, kind and amazing nieces. Anne loves to travel, explore and camp, and she has attended the Winfield Bluegrass Festival every year since 2007.
Shanna Ziegler, MS, APRN

Shanna Ziegler brought 13 years of nursing experience to FSGC when she joined the staff in 2008. She graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the University of Kansas with a Master of Science in Nursing. Shanna worked in various capacities at Menninger and assisted in their transition to Houston. Since returning to Kansas she has gained broad experience in community mental health and has a number of clinical interests in pediatric mental health. Shanna has been married to her husband for 15 years. She enjoys spending time in her garden, camping and living in the country. She also loves her three cats: Taz, Blacky and Skinny.
Kelly Krueger-Seaman, APRN

Kelly Krueger-Seaman was a registered nurse for eight years before becoming an APRN in 2018. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in nursing with a Clinical Nurse Leader emphasis from the University of Kansas. She also earned a post-master’s certificate as psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has previous experience at Children’s Mercy Hospital and as a school nurse. Kelly is ANCC-certified as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan). She enjoys cycling and volleyball along with watching Kansas Jayhawks athletics.
Jessica Manion, APRN

Jessica joined FSGC’s psychiatry staff in 2022. She holds a degree in education with an emphasis in exercise physiology from the University of Kansas in 2005 and a nursing degree from Washburn University in 2007. Jessica received a master’s degree in nursing (family practice) in 2013 from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2013. She gained eight years of nursing experience at Holton Hospital. Prior to coming to FSGC, she worked in urgent care for Stormont Vail Health Care and in an employee health clinic for Marathon Health which serves State of Kansas employees. Prior to entering health care, she taught yoga, pilates, step aerobics and dance. These days, she and her husband spend most of their time going to their four kids’ sporting and dance events.
Mechele Ford, MSN, APRN-BC

Mechele Ford came to FSGC in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and Master of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University, and has worked in psychiatry, mostly in pediatrics, throughout her career. She received experience and training from Menninger in various positions before joining FSGC, where she also serves as Nursing Operations Manager. Mechele specializes in Pediatric Psychiatry and is ANCC-certified in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. She is married with a grown daughter and two dogs. Mechele is a very talented jewelry maker and enjoys being outdoors.
Vicki Claassen, APRN

Vicki Claassen has been a member of FSGC’s psychiatric team since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University and a master’s in Nursing-Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wichita State University. Vicki also received experience and training at Menninger in the adult Trauma Recovery Program, adult and children’s Eating Disorder Units and the Acute Child and Adolescent Unit. She is ANCC-certified in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Vicki is married with two grown sons. She enjoys repurposing and painting furniture as well as spending time in the mountains. When it comes to sports, Vicki is an avid fan of the Kansas State Wildcats, Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
Travis Freed, LMLP
Director, Crisis & Recovery Services

Travis has been with FSGC since November 2005 and served children and families in a variety of roles. He currently serves on the Healthsource Integrated Solutions Advisory Board and the Governor’s Mental Health Subcommittee on Evidence-Based Practices. He is also a member of the Crisis Residential Association. Travis provides training and consultation on the establishment of youth crisis centers for both in-state and out-of-state partners. He holds a master’s degree in psychology from Washburn University. Travis loves cycling – especially mountain biking – and spending time with his wife and four kids.
Kirby Pope, MD

Dr. Kirby Pope joined FSGC in 2001. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also completed a General Psychiatry Residency. He completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Pope is a graduate from the Adult Training Program and the Training Program in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis from the Topeka Institute for Psychoanalysis. Dr. Pope has received board certification in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also has certification in Psychoanalysis and in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis from The American Psychoanalytic Association. Dr. Pope is a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis in the practice of Psychoanalysis and in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis.
Jennie Watson, LSCSW
Director, School & Community Services

Jennie has served FSGC children and families in many different capacities since joining the staff in 2005. She worked closely with the Kansas Department of Education to establish the Mental Health Intervention Team (MHIT) Program, a program that integrates mental health programs into schools. Jennie has presented to parents on multiple topics in FSGC’s Real-World Parenting Conversation Series. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Washburn University. Jennie is married with a very spirited little red-haired daughter. She’s very active in organizing and developing her community through youth and neighborhood events
Karen Smothers, LSCSW, LCAC
Chief Clinical Officer

Karen has more than 25 years of experience in community mental health. She was previously the Assistant Director and Clinical Director of Pawnee Mental Health Services in Manhattan, Kansas. Karen earned her master’s degree in social work from Washburn University in 2006. She is an adjunct faculty member at Manhattan Christian College. She is married to her husband, John, and has two sons: the Smothers brothers. She enjoys rail-to-trails biking, hiking and being outdoors.
